Networking
The International Poultry Expo is more than just the world's largest poultry trade show. Ranked 54th in the top 200 trade shows in America (2004), the International Poultry Expo has been positioned to be the international nerve center for the poultry industry. At the 2007 show more than 20,000 poultry leaders from 90 countries gathered to see the newest technology relating to production and processing of poultry meat and eggs.

According to the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, 69 percent of trade show attendees rate interacting personally with industry or professionally with colleagues and associates very or extremely important in performing their jobs.

Industry Updates and Training
The registration fee includes admission to the educational programs held throughout the show. The program is developed by a committee of industry leaders who tailor the sessions to address the hottest issues and challenges facing the poultry industry. The program is finalized in August and can be found on this Web site.

Education
IPE places a high priority on education. This goes beyond our traditional attendee programs.

College Student Career Program: Approximately 300 college students from 25 different universities participate in the College Student Career Program. It provides an excellent opportunity for interested companies to interview students each year for full-time positions and internships. The show also gives the leaders of tomorrow an exposure to the wide range of opportunities available in the poultry sectors.

International Poultry Scientific Forum: The Southern Poultry Science Society, the Southern Conference on Avian Diseases and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association will sponsor an International Poultry Scientific Forum immediately prior to the 2008 exposition. The forum will be held January 21-22 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

The Forum presents information on such topics as environmental management, nutrition, physiology, pathology, processing, avian diseases and product development. There is a separate registration fee for this program. For more information e-mail:
