Invitation
Letter
The deadline
for requesting an invitation letter to attend
the 2009 International Poultry Expo and International
Feed Expo is November 21, 2008. Send the
following information to pstathes@poultryegg.org:
your name; title; company name; company
address; city, country and postal code;
passport number; date passport issued;
and date passport expires. You also
can request an invitation using the
ONLINE
REQUEST FORM or fax the information
to (770) 493-9257. *Requested
invitational letters are sent to individuals
who reside in countries currently housing
an open American embassy.
Obtaining a Visa
The time it takes to process a visa can
vary significantly depending on the
type of visa and circumstances in the
country or region. To see an estimate

If you require a visa to attend the
International Poultry Expo and the
International Feed Expo, we suggest
you obtain your visa before registering
for the trade show.

The U.S. Department of Commerce
will help you identify and meet reputable
U.S. companies and interested suppliers
at the International Poultry Expo and
International Feed Expo. Focus your limited
time on meeting appropriate suppliers.

Service
If you are from a foreign country and
are planning to attend the 2009 International
Poultry Expo and International Feed Expo,
the U.S. Commercial Service office of
the American Embassy/Consulate in your
country offers free business assistance
to qualified companies. Firms that do
business outside the United States, but
are interested in attending the IPE/IFE
to find U.S. suppliers of goods and services,
are considered to be “qualified
companies.”
The U.S. Commercial Service offices
overseas can assist you in gaining the
most of this exposition with friendly
assistance in your own language; help
finding U.S. suppliers before, during
and after the show; help arranging hotel
and travel packages; assistance with
VISA application procedures where necessary;
and much more. Plus, your company will
receive complimentary admission to the
trade show when you are part of a qualified
